Covered Ice Rink - Victoria Square

Our fabulous covered ice rink is back! This crowning glory will light up Victoria Square once again for four weeks over the festive period. Come and join us with the whole family – whether you’re a newbie or an expert twirler our ice rink is suitable for everybody. Younger children (8s and under) can enjoy Penguin Club sessions and the popular “happy hour and a half” is back on selected evenings! With tickets starting from just £4.50 for children it’s a Christmas treat priced to be affordable for everyone.
Festive Family Zone – Crompton Place

Drop into our fantastic Festive Family Zone in the former BHS unit in Crompton Place – complete with Santa’s grotto and family friendly games and activities you won’t want to miss it! (Don’t forget to book your tickets for the grotto online!)
Santa’s Grotto – Crompton Place
7th – 24th December 2019
Santa has moved home this year and we’ve created him an enchanting new grotto in Crompton Place! Come inside this extra special venue and follow the magical trail right to Santa’s door. Meet his elves along the way before joining the main man himself, who will present your child with a fantastic gift – a festive children’s book. Only £4 per child.
Teepee Café - Victoria Square
7th December 2019 – 5th January 2020
Come inside our festive Teepee Café and warm up from the cold, grab a hot chocolate, a bite to eat and sit back and relax whilst you listen to some fantastic local entertainment on our live music stage.
There’s a packed programme of entertainment each weekend too, including street performances, reindeers and donkey visits, carol singing as well as children’s fair rides.
With regular bus and rail links to Bolton from across Greater Manchester as well as FREE parking available in our NCP car parks (Topp Way, Deane Road and The Octagon) at weekends and after 3pm weekdays from 21st November there’s never been a better time to visit!
