Animals and Us exhibition

A new interactive, family exhibition is now open at Bolton Museum – with a tiny mouse as star of the show.

Leopold, the inquisitive mouse, has been designed by Chorlton illustrator Anna Violet and is the mascot for Animals and Us.

He will guide visitors through the exhibition, showing them how all animals – from insects to elephants – are an important part of our everyday lives.

Toddler Tales

Horwich Library Toddler Tales sessions are now every Tuesday at 10.30am.

Following the Toddler Tales storytelling session join us for Stay and Play where children and their parents can play and have fun together. Both these free sessions are for children under 5 and their mums, dads and carers. No need to book just come along.

The group writes in a range of genres and styles -  from poetry to prose -  and welcome all new members whatever your writing talent or experience. Making Landscape 1778 - 2016

During this session, children practise their reading and make a craft around the story they read.

These sessions are used to help children improve on their literacy, it encourages creativity through crafts and allows children to learn simple BSL. The Gallery: Bolton's Iconic Buildings
